A WORD FOR YOU BY PASTOR CHRIS

The work of the ministry that the Lord has given to us to carry out is a very powerful and great responsibility that is, bringing God's children to a place of understanding, knowledge and maturity, so they can live the life that God has given them in Christ Jesus. (Ephesians 4:8-16)

As a man or woman of God, it is important to understand that you have a definite responsibility. There is something definite about your calling you are not just setting up a Church and having a nice family Church you are taking God's children on a spiritual journey bringing them to another level of life into the knowledge of God a God they cannot see with their optical eyes, but who is more real than everything they see or perceive.

With this high calling, there is a certain kind of mentality that a minister of the Gospel must have.  There is no place in ministry for weakness and the beggarly mind. You may be a woman in ministry but don’t be womanish. They are two different things. In truth there's no place for weakness for the minister who has been called into the ministry of the Gospel. There is a mentality that you must have and you don’t get to acquire that mentality from your mother’s womb or even by praying for it, it's in the calling. It's a requirement it is something that God demands of you.

In Joshua 1:6, the Lord told Joshua, "Be strong and of a good courage:" Joshua had been with Moses, he knew what it was like when Moses was there, so God told him, "Be strong and of a good courage…."

Listen, no matter where you are today or the challenges that may be confronting you in your ministry. It may be the government or economic policies, it makes no difference. The Lord says, "Be strong and of a good courage….". This is His requirement, and that's the mentality you must have as a minister of the Gospel the mentality of a warrior!
