The International School of Ministry 2009 session, which took place in Johannesburg, South Africa, from March to April 2009, can be best described as a divine encounter for those who attended. Stirred by their hunger for the Word of God and a deeper fellowship with the Holy Spirit; ministers of the gospel from various nations and continents of the world, and of different races and backgrounds, journeyed to South Africa for an encounter that revolutionized their lives.
Two hundred and sixty (260) men and women of God came from Botswana, Cote d’Ivoire, Demark, Democratic Republic of Congo, Egypt, Finland, Germany, Kenya, Kosovo, Madagascar, Mozambique, Myanmar, Malawi, Nigeria, Philippines, Romania, Sri- Lanka, South America, South Korea, South Africa, Spain, Tanzania, Uganda, United Kingdom, United Arab Emirate, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
They had heard of the man of God, Pastor Chris, and the great demonstrations of the power of God at work in him, and decided to come and partake of God’s grace upon him; and they were not disappointed.
During the session, the students were taught deep truths from the Word of God that awakened them to the reality of the divine life we have been called to live as Christians, and the great role they have been called to play in making the Master’s dream of covering the earth with the knowledge of the glory of God a reality.
At every class, diverse truths from the Word of God were communicated, bringing in an anointing from God’s Spirit that lifted each person to a greater and higher level in ministry. Indeed their lives and ministries will never remain the same, as they watched their faith grow, and were fired up with great passion and conviction to carry out the work of the ministry.
An unforgettable encounter for the students was the glorious opportunity to attend the Healing School Autumn Session, to witness the miraculous power of God demonstrated through the man of God. Right before their eyes, they saw the lame walk, the blind see, the deaf hear; and those paralyzed and bound by various diseases and infirmities made free by the power of God, proving that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever, and that what He did in Bible days, He is still doing today through the ministry of Pastor Chris. Many of them returned to their nations with the same healing anointing, and experienced the same power at work in their ministries.
The 7-day minister’s course, a special programme for senior pastors and ministers also brought about a glorious transformation in the lives of those who attended. Not only were they empowered by the Word of God, they also received an impartation from the man of God, Pastor Chris, catapulting them to a higher level of ministry. The prophecies that came forth after the meetings, confirmed the grace that had been transferred into their lives for greater service, and they were ready to take their world for Jesus.
At the end of the course, one hundred and seven (107) ministers from seventeen (17) countries were inducted into the ISM Minister’s Network. Praise God!
