Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How long do I have to wait to get a response from you once I have submitted my application?
A: Once we have received a completed application, you will get a response within 4-5 days. If your application is not complete, we will contact you requesting that you submit the remaining aspects of your application. Note that incomplete applications will not be processed.
Q:Do I have to be a minister to attend the School of Ministry?
A: You don’t have to be a minister to attend the International School of Ministry. You can attend the International School of Ministry if you have a passion for ministry or if you believe God has called you to ministry and want to be trained for that purpose.
Q:Does the School of Ministry offer financial aid or support?
A: The International School of Ministry does not presently provide financial aid or support to students; you have to be prepared financially before coming to school.
Q:What books will I need, can I find out what books I’ll need before coming?
A: A book list will be given to you in your first week at school. All books required for your curriculum will be available at the bookshop.
Q:What if I have kids and want to bring them over, is there a day care facility for them?
A: The International School of Ministry does not provide day care facilities. You may have to make your own private arrangements
Q:My family would like to come over during my graduation. Can they stay with me or will there be any provision for their graduation?
A: The International School of Ministry does not presently provide accomodation for that purpose. You will have to make your own private arrangements.
Q: Can I get a job during the session to help me maintain myself?
A:Your time at the International School of Ministry must be dedicated solely to getting trained for ministry, we advice that you try to make all the necessary arrangements to sustain yourself before embarking on your trip.
Q: Can a student attend the Healing School? What if a student has a major health need?
A: A student can attend the Healing School while at the International School of Ministry. Healing School classes run for not less than 2 weeks, in the mornings and afternoons on the school premises, while ISM lectures hold in the evenings. Students can fit this into their schedule. Students with major health needs are advised to attend the Healing School while at the International School of Ministry.
